Learn Google’s Material Design concepts
Google introduces Material Design on June 25, 2014, at the 2014 Google I/O conference.
Learn Google’s Material Design is a brand new set of guidelines for designers and developers alike. It is all about using grid-based layouts, padding, easing animations and depth.
Material design is a three-dimensional environment with fresh perspective on user interfaces containing light, material, and cast shadows.
Google’s mobile applications for Android had applied the new design language, including Gmail, YouTube, Google Drive, Google Docs, Sheets and Slides, Google Maps, Inbox, all of the Google Play-branded applications, and to a smaller extent the Chrome browser and Google Keep.
Material Design has became popular as it was on launch day itself. There are many good resources to learn, but if you are new to the concepts, you are probably wondering where to begin.
